Hello allOnce in a while in the middle of a flight, the computer will freeze, then 5 seconds later, I get a fatal error then FSX closes. How can I fix this?Thanks.

A description of your problem thats as detailed as your computers specs would help:-doh Sp1,sp2? Addons ect ect.Whats the error say?

I have SP2+Acceleration, and the flight consists of an add-on Boeing 767-300/ER from Opensky ported over from FS2004 that hasn't been giving me much problems. There's no message except for the Vista dialog box which says "A Fatal Error Occured; Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...", and then 3 seconds later Windows tries to restart the game.Thanks.

I've also noticed when it happens, certain textures on the parts of the airplane look very weird or just fail to load. Could this have anything to do with it?

What setting are you running your AA at?? If you are by chance running at 8xs try dropping it back to 8x and see if your problem disappears.

It was at 8xS, and yes, setting it to 8x seemed to work, thanks.

Actually, it's crashing again, this time with an imported FS2004 Meljet 777.
