New FSX Application Error -- anyone seen this one?

Featured Replies

FSX has been running fine until this message started showing up when the application was closed. FSX w/Acceleration. GEX, UTX, FEX, XP-Pro, 4 GB RAMCheers,

My guess would be that you could have a corrupt file within your FSX installation or it could also mean you have a hardware problem with your memory. If the problem doesn't go away I would start by running a memory check program, I belive there is one called simpy Memtest that you should be able to find Googling for it. If that goes well next step would be a reinstallation of FSX.Also worth considering...if you have never seen this kind of error message but when running FSX it's probably not a hardware problem.I'm not sure but I belive what's actually causing this kind of error message in Windows is when an application tries using memory that is reserved for another application/process...a collision sort of speak.Hope you manage to find and cure the problem!Best of luck,
