How do I move a `slipped` Splash Screen ??

Featured Replies

My opening FS9 splash screen has `slipped` or moved to the bottom left hand corner of the computer screen with only about a quarter of it showing and whilst it doesn`t stop FS9 loading its a niggle and I would like to move it back to the centre of the screen.Anyone know hopw I can do this ??ThanksGeorge

Do you run the sim in full screen or windowed mode? Try putting FS9 in windowed mode and then using the "Restore Down" button in the top corner. Center the window on your screen, restore to full size/full screen and then exit the sim. Should fire up in the center next time...

Great!! My splash screen had slipped to the northeast although it was still all on the screen, this little trick solved and repaired that mystery.Much appreciated Rick, and George, your question was timely.

Hi Nes, actually , this is caused when you change your resolution size. I am not sure in which order,(been a while) but say in the sim, you go from 1152x864 to 1024x768, the next time you start FS, it will do this. If the actual desktop size is changed first so it matches the sims size (recommended), or the other way around, this will happen. I hope this helped and I did not confuse matters for you.
