December 12, 200619 yr I've seen people post this question in the forums already, but didn't see any answers. I downloaded the fsfrance Concorde but have many sound problems where it will cause fs9 to CTD. Does anyone have a solution to this? I know there are other Concordes out there but wanted to know if there were any flyers out there enjoying this aircraft. Or maybe the problem is with the panel? Has anyone come up with a solution? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!Eric
December 11, 200718 yr Sorry to re-open an old thread, but I have also the same problem. I installed the PM2 panel for the Concorde (not Pedro Oliveira's one), and when I reach Mach 1.00, I get an error message saying "Creation failed - check if sound file is available" and after that, a CTD. With Oliveira's panel I can't remember having any problem, but I don't like how it looks. Does anybody know of a fix for the FS France Concorde panel?Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. December 14, 200718 yr I solved the problem. I just opened Windows' Sound Recorder (well, in Spanish it's called "Grabadora de Sonidos", I don't know if I gave the correct name in English), created a sound file of around 0.5 seconds (What did I record? nothing) and named it cm_conc_sonicbang.wav. Then I moved it to the folder Flight Simulator 9Sound. Problem solved.Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11.
