Griffiss (KRME) Airfield

Featured Replies

There are basic errors in FS2004(FS) for this airfieldI'm looking for any existing updatesIf none, then I am seeking someone who can do a modification for meKRME assumed flight operations as the Oneida County Airport in Jan 2007(Ops were previously at KUCA)

What exactly is wrong with it? At first glance it loooks reasonable.scott s..

Major error is that the new FAA tower is missingOther than that, taxiway markers are missinghanger arrangement is basically correctI know this airfield, having flown from it 1980-1985Can you advise anyone who can make airfield modifications?

Super nav, This is a great opportunity to dive into scenery tweaking! First go get AFCAD and check out all the great things you can change with that. Then I recommend a troll through the scenery development forum here. Frankly i doubt anyone has touched this airport. Its not very difficult to get started changing basic things like buildings and taxiways. There are several very easy to learn programs out there which can help you really change the character of an airport easily. If I can do it anyone can :)Hornit

I'll give it a shot, considering that I only want to make a limited number of minor changes (for now). Steer me to AVCAD.Tahnx

afcad221.zip Its right here in the avsim library. Help is part of the program and there are many sites which have great tutorials about trafic and what this program does.Hornit
