Does Anyone Own Both the Feel There ERJ-145 and Legacy

Featured Replies

If you own the Feel There ERJ-145 and then bought the Legacy, do you find that it was worth the money? I own the ERJ and it's one of my favorite aircraft to fly. However, I'm also eyeballing the Legacy for FS9 -- the weather radar, the autopilot/speed hold feature, as well as the HUD.On the other hand, much of the front office of the Legacy looks identical to the ERJ as it would in real life, of course. Nonetheless, you can't help but think you're buying the same thing twice. Any thoughts on this welcome.Thanks.Ed Lin, D.O.S.

Hi Ed,I have them both, and wrote the reviews on AVSIM for both of them. The Legacy does show a couple more years of modeling skills and a better representation of the panel. And I do love the virtual cabin. This aircraft in real life is quite breathtaking and just immerses you in wealth. If you get it you'll probably find yourself flying it more than the ERJ145.Zane

I haven't flown the 145 since I got the legacy... my only complain is I wish they included few 135 paints for airliners (like dc, and express jet etc) as I don't really fly biz jets... :( other then that, I love it... the wx radar is awesome gadget and the VC is a bit better (better overheard etc) also I don't use the hud much since its a 2d only thing and I havent gotten into that bad of a storm yet to need it for a cat II app. :)I say def go for it! :)

I agree with both posts above. It's kinda addicting, I found myself searching out some Options flights on Flightaware.com and flying those routes as they do with the legacy. It's a good buy!! :)
