March 2, 200323 yr I am sure I have seen this before but my search doesn't bring any relevant information: When I load ANY plane, my elevator trim is set all the way down. If I try to change it, it returns to the original position as soon as I stop hitting the keboard. I ave removed FSUIPC to be sure, and have checked my key and joystick assignments, to no avail. Has anybody got an idea?
March 2, 200323 yr Hit the,"Z", key to turn off the AutoPilot. Sounds like you saved your startup flight and inadvertantly turned on the autopilot. Worth a try anyway. So if you hit the "Z"key and get a tone, you know the autopilot was on, and I would then resave the startup flight.Hope this works, Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
March 2, 200323 yr Try reassigning the involved keys to force a new config setting. Use a different available key and see if that works, then put it back and try again. The may be a config file problem.
March 3, 200323 yr Thanks, but it didn't change the results... It's weird, I have deleted my FS2002.CFG, reassigned keys and joysticks actions, removed FSUIPC, and whatever plane is used, TRIM goes all the way down within 2 seconds of loading the plane, almost like a failure of a plane system??
March 3, 200323 yr Same problem here trying to fly a C-150. I read replies and suspected perhaps it was the model itself. It was. Free stuff is, well, sometimes not all it's cracked-up to be.All other planes in my collection fly just peachy. Many of them are free too.YMMV
