March 11, 200719 yr Hey,I done a search on this but didnt find anything so decided to ask, I plan to upgrade my PC soon, and they all seem to come with Vista. I dont plan to go to FSX yet and would like to run FS9 for years to come. My question is, does Fs9 run ok on Vista, and do the addons (pmdg etc) run good aswell? Thanks in advance,Dave

March 12, 200719 yr For me FS9 runs perfectly well with Vista. If you do have a problem installing an addon (I didn't at all)you just have to run it as Administrator or choose XP in the Compatibility Tab (right click>properties). With the new Nvidia drivers I really begin enjoying Vista :-) - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

March 13, 200719 yr For me, that are using a new ATI-card, FS9 almost runs good in Vista. The problem is that I can't run FS in windowed mode with the drivers from ATI.

Just curious. :-hmmm EwingKATLAlcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a store, not a government agency.MSI K8N Neo2 PlatinumAMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0 GHz2GB Corsair PC-3200 512x4 Dual Channel CL2.5 DDR DIMM eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT 256MB DDR3Sound Blaster Audigy LSOCZ Powerstream 420WWinXPPro (SP1)
