June 14, 200718 yr Looking through some notes I had jotted down back in 2006, I found the following question:"In FDSFX' panel, is there a way that keystrokes can replace mouse clicksto initiate a flight crew message? I would like to have the ability to start flight crew messages exclusively from "Spot Plane" view.Does any other crew announcement program provide such a feature?Any constructive comments or suggestions would be welcome.4Deucer
June 14, 200718 yr Have you made any panels from scratch? I've made minipanels for my favorite planes that I can call up when I'm in Spot view. They usually have an attitude indicator, an HSI or RMI, and the autopilot. I don't have any that include FDSFX buttons but it wouldn't be difficult.I'll help or send you a "starter" minipanel, if you'd like.R-
June 15, 200718 yr Commercial Member Kinda jumping on what Ron just said... could you put the little icon I created for it in the spotview? Maybe hide it in a corner but then again tha might get annoying. You'd probably want then a key to turn that on and off - ha! just a thought,Clutch (aka Marcus Thompson)FDSFX PanelProject 9Dragons Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) June 15, 200718 yr My solution would be just putting the fdsfx popup window as one of the first 9 windows in panel.cfg so I can just shift-# to popup the fdsfx panel, click the announcement I want, then shift-# again to close it... Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
