PC-12 Pilatus

Featured Replies

well I dont understand the purpose of the prop?To pull the aircraft through the air. Thrust is only generated by the prop, not by the turbine. As far as the plane, when in doubt - go to the sourcehttp://www.pilatus-aircraft.com/Good specs on the PC-12 at the Mfgr siteFlight 1 has a fantastic payware version of the plane - and yes it does fly final approach in a nose down attitude. There used to be a couple pretty good freeware ones around.A new version has recently been announced - I don't know if it's a factory or US modification - a nice glass cockpit has received approval to be installed.

Reggie,The new PC-12 with the Honeywell Apex with FMC is the new factory aircraft with other mods from BMW and PW along with a new winglet, LED exterior lights, and a few other things.Universal Avionics with Synth Vision is an authorized retrofit.

"All that and not one person answered Mark's question."The answers from markadeane, Jim Robinson, and cessna175 all answered the question to different degrees.

I appreciate all the help. I really do remain amazed at this forum and the value it offers as a resource. The time everyone takes to share the knowledge he or she may have is certianly not taken for granted by myself.I hope everyone has a great week.Mark.
