Virtual FS pilot dream

Hi fellow simmersImagine that you get:- Posky 757 with PSS panel and VC- Meljet 777 with PSS panel and VC- Posky 737NG with PMDG panel and VC- 50North 737CL with Feelthere panel and VC- Project Airbus A320V2 with Feelthere panel and VC (modified textures)Isn't it a dream?Sometimes I wonder why developpers don't reuse existing nice looking models? Of course, with agreements with models makers. It would be:a gain in time/cost in developpmenta gain in qualityToo bad, it was just a dreamThank you for readingRegardsGhiom

Something better:Posky 757 with Level-D's panel and VC!(Yes, the 757 and 767 cockpits are similar).Well, the VC thing is more of a dream (or in case of the Posky 737 and 757 as far as I know, a rewriting of the VC sections of the panel.cfg file could help a bit), but the panel thing can be solved with a merge. What I don't understand is why some developers make it very hard to merge the panel of their plane with another model. Not everyone here is a repainter (one of the, in my opinion, the 2 most frequent reasons why to merge. The other one? Just using a better visual model). I suppose the alias method does not work because the FDEs may be very customized for the panel (specially the .air file), but I'm not sure. May someone please explain why?Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel
