July 22, 200718 yr I don't know if this might be a stupid question or if I am asking the wrong people but I wanted to know how to fix contact points because two aircraft are giving me some serious problems with them (Erik Cantu's Brasilia and the Premier Aircraft Design Dash 8 300), so can somebody help me please!!!!!!Any form of help would be appreciated
July 22, 200718 yr [contact_points]The first three lines: point.0, point.1, and point.2 are the three wheels. The numbers in the these lines mean, in sequence://1 Class//2 Longitudinal Position (feet)//3 Lateral Position (feet)//4 Vertical Position (feet)Make a backup and just adjust the given field. July 25, 200718 yr Contact points can be seen if you assign the nav lights to the contact points. It's a neat trick to check your contact points and see where they really are as a test.
July 25, 200718 yr Hi,They are water rudder points, used to extend the landing lights. You must have them in the cfg if you use the water rudder variable for the animation.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
July 25, 200718 yr So, your secret to lowering the landing lights out of the wing and rotating the light from pointing down to forward - is to make FS think they are water rudders.Very imaginative and cool !!!!!
