POSKY 737-900ER Merge with PMDG Panel

Featured Replies

POSKY 737-900ER and PMDG Panel Merge Copyright ©2007 - Tri Wasono ==================================== I would like to share my work and effort merging the POSKY 737-900ER model with PMDG Panel (2D only). Please use the merge at your own risk, since both Project Opensky and PMDG do not support for merged products.1. First, you should copy the original B737-900.air and Aircraft.cfg file from your PMDG Boeing 737-900 folder into POSKY 739ER aircraft folder. 2. Modify the panel section in your POSKY model and alias it to PMDG 737-800 panel, since the original PMDG 739 also alias the 738 panel. 3. Open and edit the previously copied Aircraft.cfg file. Follow these instructions: - Make and edit the [fltsim] section properly according to your favorite aircraft repaint. But make sure the "sim" tag is like this: ================================================================sim=B737-900================================================================- For WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE section, make the following modifications: (I only put the modified lines) ================================================================reference_datum_position= 74.600, 0.000, 2.120 empty_weight=98495.0 // refer to Boeing technical specification station_load.0 = 36690.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050 station_load.1 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose station_load.2 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose station_load.3 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose station_load.4 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose station_load.5 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose station_load.6 = 0.0, -61.875, 0.0, 1.050, FsStation // for FSPassengers purpose max_gross_weight=187700.000 // refer to Boeing technical specification ================================================================- For "fuel" section, make the following modification: (I only put the modified lines) ================================================================Center1= -60.945, 0.000, -2.800, 5261.000, 0.000 // adjusted so the total fuel is 7837 gallon ================================================================- For "airplane_geometry", I changed the winglet flag as follow: (I only put the modified lines) ================================================================wing_winglets_flag=1 ================================================================- For "contact_points" section, I only changed the vertical position of all three wheels. Enjoy it!!! I would like to welcome if there's any suggestion for particular editing values, which might be better and more suitable to the merge.Regards.Tri Wasono

Hello Guys, After several testings, there are some revisions to make it better: - On the "fuel" section, modify the center tank parameters================================================================Center1= -58.945, 0.000, -2.800, 5261.000, 0.000 ================================================================- On "contact_points" section, change the wheel points with: ================================================================point.0=1.000, -16.100, 0.000, -10.528, 1200.00, 0.000, 1.191, 60.000, 0.781, 1.484, 0.736, 8.000, 7.500, 0.000, 270.000, 230.000 point.1=1.000, -71.150, -9.500, -10.525, 1500.00, 1.000, 1.823, 0.000, 0.391, 1.165, 0.797, 10.000, 9.500, 2.000, 270.000, 230.000 point.2=1.000, -71.150, 9.500, -10.525, 1500.00, 2.000, 1.823, 0.000, 0.391, 1.165, 0.797, 9.000, 8.500, 3.000, 270.000, 230.000 ================================================================- On "TurbineEngineData" section, revert the setting back to default values================================================================static_thrust=24200.000 ================================================================- On "Views" section, adjust it to become: ================================================================eyepoint=-9.850, -1.730, 2.75 ================================================================PS. For FS Pax users, you can use the original 737-800 payload layout which come from FSPax itself as a base. Just Modify the number of pax using the payload editor... That should do it... :)Regards,Tri Wasono
