November 6, 200718 yr Hello everyone! If I would like to enhance my overall airport experience with sounds - environment noise, trucks, cars, something that simulates airport environment, what would you suggest me to look at? I am not looking for Cockpit sounds, those would only be in the way when talking to live ATC on VATSIM, but rather external sounds. Wouldn't bother me much if muffled in the cabin, but I'd like to hear them while in external view...Whatcha got for me? :)
November 6, 200718 yr Commercial Member With the FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel (FDSFX) (filename FDSFXpnl.zip here in AVSIM library), the first two switches GATE AMBIENCE and AIRPORT AMBIENCE are designed just for that. Is it that Flight Deck Companion will work in any aircraft and FS2Crew is designed for specific aircraft? Thanks.Smooth skies.Chuck B. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.
