November 8, 200718 yr Commercial Member This has been nagging me so long I finally thought I would post. Did a lot of searches but found no answers. Subject says it all. Can't keep the engines running when I leave slew mode (not too good on final!).I know about the F1 key but that is for a different reason. My default setup on my laptop works fine so I know it must be something I have done in the past... fs9.cfg? A button assignment? If anyone out there discovered the cure would sure appreciate it. November 8, 200718 yr Just a thought.....is your default flight set to begin cold and dark? November 13, 200718 yr Author Commercial Member Well, I finally solved the mystery! And I felt it was worth coming back to find this post and help those other simmers who have been banging their head against the wall wondering why their aircraft engines suddenly shut down after coming out of slew mode. Now I use a CH Flight Sim Yoke so if you have some other joystick I'm not sure but I would think it would still work for you. On the top of the yoke are three levers (axis). The far right one is the Mixture Axis. Just push that lever AWAY from you and keep it there. When you come out of slew mode (pressing the "Y" key), you engines will stay on.Pretty simple, eh? Hope it works for others.
