February 10, 200818 yr Hi,I am not trying to model my own planes yet but would like to modify some freeware planes to fit my style. I have one that has a scary looking blonde copilot when I look to the right and I would like to push the eject button and get rid of her. I know her graphics are embedded somewhere but I don't know where or how to edit her out. Please post some info for a wannabe solo pilot...Dolph
February 10, 200818 yr Hi Dolph,Without the source files, there's nothing you can do other than email the author of the aircraft and ask if they'd kindly edit the aircraft for you. You would be surprised how many authors are willing to help out, especially those in the freeware arena. Regards,John
February 12, 200818 yr Author Man, I'd hate to bother the person about it. Maybe he modeled her after his mom or something and would take it wrong. 8^)On the other hand, it may be more realistic since my wife is blonde and she would most likely be sitting there in a real plane blocking my view out the right side too. Thanks for the info.Dolph
February 12, 200818 yr You first would need to get permission from the creator of the aircraft and then try to change the texture file that has the pilot image. Without permission you would infringe the creator's copyright. Gerry Howard
February 13, 200818 yr I've added myself and others as pax in some of my planes and could probably take anything out . What aircraft are you talking about? jerrycwo4
