April 2, 200818 yr Hi everyone. Got an interesting problem at the moment! After the recent change in DST I have noticed that FS9 thinks all of France is on the same zone as the UK - ie 1 hour ahead of GMT. All other European countries except Portugal (as expected) are 2 hours ahead as they should be.I am using Joshua Robertson FSRealtime zones and never had any problem before but he did mention once that FS9 may take a while to properly catch up with the changes.Any thoughts would be appreciatedJohn John Hewson
April 2, 200818 yr In the not-so-distant past France actually changed into summer time a week or two out of sync with the UK (or was it vice-versa, for whatever reason) ... it's possible that FS9 (or possibly the o/s) still thinks like that and will change France next weekend or the weekend after ... it's also possible that France is still out of sync with the UK ... I don't know, perhaps one of our gallic cousins can enlighten us?
April 2, 200818 yr Author Interesting thought - will keep an eye over the next week or so. Not a huge problem but wondered if others noticed same?John John Hewson
April 3, 200818 yr Real world - UK and France changed to daylight time Sun Mar 30 (returning to standard Oct 26). BUT, just chk'd FS9 and the rest of Europe also seems to be on std time (eg. Amsterdam and Berlin). Interesting. Will keep a watch as well.Think I'll chk FSX later this evening.Claude Regards, Claude Franklin
April 3, 200818 yr France is on CET (Central European Time) and they have changed like us in the UK now (at the same time I beleive).EDIT - FS9 seems to have all correct (Europe +2 GMT and UK +1GMT). I think my FS changed by default a few days before.
