I did a bit of "research" earlier today and what I found only adds to the conundrum. The "AFCAD" for the Aerosoft EDDF Scenery(Ver 2.0.6) I installed in May lists one freq each for RWY 07L, 25R and RWY 07R, 25L. My PMDG ARPT_RWY.dat file (dated 8/17/2016) lists two ILS freqs (Y and Z) for RWY 07L and two ILS freqs (Y and Z) for RWY 25R. The current Navigraph Lido charts for EDDF list two ILS freqs for RWY 07L (Y & Z) and two ILS freqs for RWY 25R (Y and Z). The ILS Z chart includes DME information. ILS Y chart does not. The Navigraph SIDSTAR file for EDDF (both AIRAC 1608 and the current 1609, includes three(3) ILS approachs (X, Y, and Z) for RWY 07L and the same for RWY 25R. The file also includes two(2) ILS approachs (X and Z) for RWY 07R and the same number for RWY 25L. ALL of these are listed as ILS Rwy's in the FMC EDDF Dep/ARR pages.

Although I have not noticed any issues, I just checked and found simliar incorrect state.cfg entries. Not unreasonable to presume they are somehow related to aircraft installation (all of mine were been done using the PMDG Op Center). Deleting and letting them rebuild does raise a question or two for me. What program/function, in or outside of FSX, uses these files and maybe we should just "ignore" the state.cfg files. I have one and the short answer to your question is "Yes, but" doing so could (will?) be a challenge. The Tilt Base has two sides, an open top frame and the removable front panel. The TQ6 must be attached to the top frame of the base first and then the whole unit is attached to the Flight Desk Console (FDC). The side panels have holes at the bottom that allow attachment to the FDC. There ain't much space to work with here. FYI, the front of the Tilt Base is about 2" high and the rear approx 1" high.

Happened yesterday. Saw the circle depicted on the ND about 50 miles prior. Don't recall if it changed shape, in part because I Armed and exited the HOLD without completing a full circuit.

Wilhelm, Thanks, however no hurry for me. I happen to have an old RJAA Jeppesen chart dated June 2008 that reflects the FSX default markings.

And sometimes taxiway markings get changed as well. Case in point, RJAA which I rarely use. A few days ago I was attempting to navigate the taxiways at night following the latest Navigraph chart and got hopelessly lost. Why? Because in the real world, RJAA significantly changed its taxiway markings a couple of years ago. The FSX default RJAA, even with Ray smith's update, still reflects the earlier and very different taxiway markings.

Kyle, Your explanation and description is most informative. And looking at the Capital SID really does help. I suspected IAD did not fit the "general rule" you described earlier for "paired runways" given where the terminal is relative to the runways. Thanks again. Regards

I have FSDT JFK Ver 2 (released April 2013) and it does include an ILS for RWY 04L (110.9). Perhaps there is something different in FSDT JFK Ver 1. Interesting how the ILS frequencies for 04L/22R and 04R/22L are assigned at JFK: 04L (110.9) / 22R (109.5) 04R (109.5) / 22L (110.9) There are real Terminal Procedure ILS or LOC RWY plates for 04L, 04R, and 22L. There is only an ILS for 22R. It is my understanding that most of the time 04L/22R are used for take offs and 04R/22L for landings.
