Mega Scenery - PC Aviator

Recommended Posts

Megascenery is on sale for FS9. Question is, are any of these sceneries worth buying? I have bought Hawaii FSX mega scenery and they were pretty good, but since I use mostly FS9 this is one product I have not tried. I have GE, AS, FE, and FSgenesis, UT-USA, which I hope they would be compatible, especially UT and FSGenesis. http://www.megascenery.com/megasceneryliquidation.htmThanks for any comments.Carl

I have the lite version of each of these which I bought from PC Aviator.Southern California Version 2 Northern California Version 2Mid AtlanticPacific NorthwestI like them very much, but I don't have any of the add-ons as mentioned in your post. Also, I think if you have a subscription to Computer Pilot magazine, you get an additional 5pc off.--Roger

I'm very happy with the Mid-Atlantic scenery, at least in the portions with the highest resolution. Also running UT-USA and FSGenesis mesh with no problems. John

The PNW is my favortie. Top notch.Only thing I didn't like was it had snow on the ground in the winter. Seattle gets what? One inch per year?

Back on my "old" E6520, these really hammered my Frame Rates -- down to below 15 as I recall. That's why I wasn't going to buy any more. I'd love the California and Pacific Northwest Ones as I lived in both areas as a youth.I now have a much stronger machine -- does anyone else experience "unacceptable" frame rate drop with these using good hardware?

Hi folks,Thanks for your input. Guess I will have to try one and see how it works and then consider the others if all goes well. Carl
