Iris PC-9A

Featured Replies

Guys, I recently purchased this airplane because of its good looks and what looked like real high quality. Since buying it, I've had a couple of issues i wanted to see were common to others as well.1. The airplane doesnt show up well in the preview window in FS9. The fuselage and propeller are incompletely rendered. Looks like what I used to see with older FS2002 airplanes when ported into FS9. Is there a fix?2. I have yet to be able to get this airplane to do anything but stall (badly) in the vertical. I cant loop it or do a split S without stall moving to flat spin of death (unrecoverable.) This is even when entering the loop at 200 KTS. Is this airplane capable of vertical maneuvers? It has a livery from the RAAF Roulettes, so I would think so. I did reach out to Iris from their web site, but no answer so far. So whilst waiting, thought I would ask here too. ThanksEric

Have you tried the forum where you purchased the aircraft? Many times such issues are reported and discussed there.

To my knowledge, Iris doesnt have a user forum. As indicated though I did write to the developers. So far without response. i am interested in feedback from other users here.Eric
