June 29, 200817 yr Re: Dai Griffiths' SD360. I beta tested this for him way back in the day (along with the various engine start gauges he coded) and I remember thinking that THIS was the turning point in FS immersion, where you actually could use the program to learn real-world skills that were otherwise the preserve of real-world commercial pilots.I flew the PMDG 744F from Aerosoft's EGLL into Canarysim's GCLA over the weekend on a charter and was reminded of the beauty of some creations that are available out there. I mean, 10 years ago, who would have thought that we would have unfettered access to the amazing technology and capability of a modern glass-cockpit airliner? Amazing...To each and every developer who has advanced simming a little (or huge) step forward in your own way, for pay or pleasure, you have my gratitude. This beats playing World-of-Ultimate-FPS-MMOG blah blah blah any day of the week! Mark Adeane - NZWN
June 30, 200817 yr Bill and Lynn Lyons are pretty high on my favorite developers list. There was always something special about their packages; they always added the little touches that made them fun.Their stuff is what I miss most in FSX.
