July 22, 200817 yr Hello, after getting access to the FS9 lessons/help menu without having to launch FS9, is it possible to get to the Settings menu in a similar manner? Thanks
July 22, 200817 yr >Hello, >>after getting access to the FS9 lessons/help menu without>having to launch FS9, is it possible to get to the Settings>menu in a similar manner?>>ThanksThe short answer is no.The Help and Lessons files which are accesible via a shortcut on your desktop are files which do not change. The Settings values of course can be changed and most, if not all of them, end up being written to your FS9.cfg file. The Settings interface you see when FS2004 is running is not accesible outside of the sim.
July 23, 200817 yr Technically the answer is yes - they are virtually all in the fs9.cfg file, which you can edit with Notepad while FS is not running. But the Setting screens make it so much easier...--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
July 23, 200817 yr Author Thanks Tom. As you say, the settings page is much easier and I'm unlikely to mess it up!
