September 18, 200817 yr Hi all,Probably I have not searched enough but I wondered if there are any problems in having/installing both FS9 and FSX on the same harddisk.Fyi, I have Windows Vista Home Premium, a Pentium D 915 Dual Core 2,8 Ghz, Geforce 7300SE graphics card and 2Gb RAM mem, therefore nothing special and I am not sure whether FSX is going to run on it (as it didn't with my earlier attempts, so I ordered a new copy) because I do not want to loose contact with everything that is new in FSX in spite of the unfavorable comments I read on FSX (FS2000 was not up to FS98 either, but FS2002 could compete with FS2004 and FS2004 for me is still the standard). MS does not sit still so we have to try and keep up with new things as well.In short, will I have problems with FS9 once I will have FSX installed?Tks,Roby

September 18, 200817 yr I have both installed and the only issue I have come across was when I un-installed FSX (since re-installed it).If I remember correctly, the FSX uninstall routine messed up my registry entry for FS2004 and I had to use a readily available freeware utility to correct that problem.Otherwise I have had no issues.
September 18, 200817 yr Thank you both.Guess I am going to find out for myself if you are right then.I know what you are referring to regarding this freeware tool (FS_Registry_Repair, right?) just in case. Roby
