November 9, 200817 yr I have researching this for a few days but can't seem to find any real info so help is appreciated. Is it possible to add FSX aircraft into FS2004 such as the aerosoft f-16 and other new planes?I have tried this process with a different payware aircraft but an error occurred and FS told me that it could not load the model.Anybody know how to use FSX aircraft in FS2004?ThanksRichy David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
November 9, 200817 yr richy:a true FSX aircraft contains data that will not work in FS9. so, no, an FSX aircraft cannot be used in FS9, or 8, or 7, etc. ...-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
November 9, 200817 yr Author Thank you for the reply. It's a shame as importing the new f-16 and other aircraft would have been nice.ThanksRichy David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
November 9, 200817 yr >Thank you for the reply.>It's a shame as importing the new f-16 and other aircraft>would have been nice.>Thanks>RichyFSX allows for a much more detailed model than can be compiled for FS9 (which is why it wasn't done for FS9 according to Aerosoft)), so even if you could import the F-16, it is such a detailed model that it would probably be a slide show in FS9.Regards, MichaelKDFW Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe nForce4 SLI-x16 / AMD Best, Michael KDFW
