Ready for Pushback

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,I just downloaded the Ready for Pushback which is now freeware. However, my computer so slow that I can't make it fly. So I was looking for a less big 747-200 with a VC. I wondered if the Ready for Pushback v1 is available? Does anyone know? Thanks, francois203 :-)

RFP V 1.0 is/was payware and has not been released to the public domain. It wouldn't solve your problem anyway... Have you tried the POSky 747s?DJ

If your using FS2004, Ready for Pushback V1 would not be compatible. There is a way to block out the VC though ala' Hex Editor.I really can't imagine flying this equipment without the VC and Cabin. You can visit The Ready for Pushback Unofficial Forum.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=282ORReady for Pushback and Ready for Pushback ViP Edition forum.http://41686.rapidforum.com/For helpful support.Cheers'http://ny.connectelectric.net-a.googlepages.com/1.jpghttp://ny.connectelectric.net-a.googlepage.../fsluserbar.jpgAmerican HaulerT. Hello,Although I don't think it really matters much I would like to clarify something here. V1 of the RFP 747-200 was originally made for FS2002. When FS2004 came out they made a patch to make it compatible and work great with FS2004.I'm a V1 customer and I never purchased V2 of the plane myself, although I hear it's great albeit complex to get started up. I currently have the RFP 747-200 V1 with the FS2004 patch installed on my system.Regards

You can merge the RFP 2D panel with the Posky 742 model pretty easily - there are several threads on Avsim that list the changes needed to the panel.cfg file to accomplish this. I went this route because I didn't like the performance of the stock RFP on my computer either. John G.
