Using "All Tanks"

Featured Replies

I have noticed that some aircraft in FS9 will use fuel evenly from all tanks, and yet some aircraft will use one tank at a time as selected on the fuel selector, and will quit from fuel starvation when that tank is empty, and create an imbalance issue if the tanks are not constantly switched. How can you setup the aircraft to use all tanks evenly, or in a certain order at least without stalling? Not sure if this is an easy setting to adjust or not.Regards.

Personally, I just keep an eye on my watch and switch tanks every thirty minutes or so in cruise. Works pretty well when when I'm flying the Mooney or the 206.

The easiest way is to simply replace the existing fuel tank switch with one that has a left/right/all (or both) setting capability. It's usually a simple edit of the panel to make the substitution.DJ
