Question about Add-on 747's

Featured Replies

After installing FS2Crew and getting it running on the default 747s in FSX, I wanted to see if it would work for my add-ons as well. I aliased my panel to the default 747-400 as well as the sound files to the 747 default sounds. When I run the simulator, FS2 Crew panel seems to work fine (I didn't run the entire thing-only the FP) but there were no aircraft noises (i.e. engines were running but no sound) although FS2Crew noises were present. I checked my sound files to make sure they were named correctly-I even copied and pasted the exact sound files from the default 747-400 into the sound file for my add-on. The only difference I can see is that I'm flying a 747-200-would that be the problem with the sound you think? Thanks,Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,That's a unique situation.FS2Crew wouldn't affect engine sounds or anything as all FS2Crew consists of is addon gauges that get loaded via the panel.cfg file.I might suggest asking the main FSX forum. Perhaps someone there might know.Cheers,Bryan
