Howdy y'all :-)I've been trying and trying for two days now to use the forum search function and all that happens is my status bar shows 5 green bars then the screen goes blank and the "done" message shows at the bottom left hand side of the explorer bar. I'm searching through the archives so I'm windering if the session times out but doesn't give a message. Anyone have a similar experience??Thanks for the help!!Mike

And I always thought, it was only my PC... Regular search seems to be OK for me, but I never got anything else but timeouts while searching the archives (having the option "Also search the archived threads?" checked).Maybe it'll be better when the new server/forum sw is up.Peter

Yeah guys, even my infamous forum manager position doesn't get me any better results. The search function seems to time out when trying to search the archives. I think that was one of the first things to take a dive as performance problems started to plague us. When the new server is ready for primetime and the library moves off this server, we will likely revisit the PHP/MySQL version of this forum software and I do know that search function works much more smoothly. Hang in there. :-)
