Why does FS2K2 take so long to load?

Featured Replies

I have noticed over the last few weeks that it is taking longer and longer for FS2K2 to load. It seems that the progress bar takes a long time to load scenery, 3D objects, ATC, etc. Is that a direct function of the size of the scenery.cfg file? I do have lots of scenery. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!Airbus

Uncheck the sceneries you never orinfrequenly use.I usually check particularly large sceneries, just before use, then uncheck after use.512 Rambus Dram may help me.Peter Sydney Australia
