FS2Crew crahes FSX

Featured Replies

HiI just bought FS2Crew but cannot get it to run. When I select the Level-D, I always get a crash of FSX poiting towards B767eadi.gau as the cause. I never had that prior to FS2Crew.I have a joystick plugged in. Sort of. I use the Xbox360 gamepad atm since my flightstick broke a few months ago and I've not gotten around to get a new one. Please let me know what I can do. Thanks

I'll try that. Strangely enough, my other addons are also affected. If I select my Maddog2006, FSX just closes itself without any error. I uninstalled another addon today (Flight1 ATR), maybe that screwed up FSX. I'll try a complete FSX reinstall.

Ok, I've redone the whole thing. At first, the Level-D worked. After the installation of FS2Crew, it crashes pointing towards a FS2Crew.gau - I fixed that by seting up my gamepad. Then it loaded up ok and works well so far - at least as far as I can tell atm.I need to install my other addons now and see if there is an issue between FS2Crew and one of them causing problems. But it seems as the problem is fixed.

Yes, you need to have a joystick plugged or FS2Crew will crash when you attempt to load it.My only concern is your XBox controller itself. You may not be able to assign the Green/Red button to your controller due to a DirectX/ XBox limitation. In that case, you'll need to use your Keyboard for the Green/Red buttons.Cheers,Bryan
