Only 12 convo wav files?

Featured Replies

I've been wanting to add more convo to the long cruises.I added a b13.wav file to the D:/FSX/sounds/FS2Crew/conv directory butI suppose 12 is what the program only looks at (which I can't find a reference to that, either)... crud! I could make one huge long convo for each of the 12, make something drawn out, that'd rock. Have conversations for each flight, have a randomizer that runs before FSX that copies a group of convos for the flight for the 12 files, that'd be neat!I was also thinking about adding stuff from Airplane and Airplane 2. Various movies and even an audiobook. Possibly even mine and my pal'sown voice for various things. I think FS2Crew could be pretty customizable. So far I've just made a backup of b1.wav and moved b13.wav to b1.wav andit played my own recording.Any ideas?Sincerely,William

Hello William,A conversation randomizer that you mentioned is something I've been thinking about, too.As to recording your own voices: Yes, you can record over any existing pre-existing wav file.Just keep the file name the same. You could in theory replace an entire voice set. It's just a matter of recording it.Cheers,Bryan
