Error with loading acrew0.gau

Featured Replies

Good evening BrianI just received a disk version of FSCrew Airbus Special Addition.I have FSX on Vista 32.I extracted via the exe file and followed the instructions re the bcdedit.exe but FSX crashes when the gauge authorisation "Do you want to run this software" is requested for the acrew0.gau file. I'm afraid it wont let me check the file "Always run software from "Brian York"". Unfortunately I cant use FSX at all And I'm not sure it the problem exists for all the acrew gauge files.with thanksLaurie

Hi Laurie,Hmmm, did you reboot your computer after you disabled DEP globally?Try this:1. Disable DEP globally again.2. Reboot your computer.3. Uninstall FS2Crew Airbus.4. Re-install FS2Crew Airbus.I haven't had this one reported before so I'm grasping at straws a bit, but give that a try first. Also, try this:1. Re-install Direct X from the Microsoft website.2. Delete the FSX.cfg file. Make a backup first, but it should automatically rebuild when you load FSX.Cheers,Bryan

Thanks for the reply BryanI deleted the FSx cfg file and everything went fine. I've not had this problem when I had the ATR fscrew for fs9, or any problems with gauges from other third party aircraft for FSX, so this caught me out. However, now I know.Nice work. Looking forward to more of your great work on other aircraft.with thanksLaurie
