March 30, 200323 yr I downloaded and installed this program. Read the tutorial. went and found the coordinates for my airport that I want to edit (rivers/roads). I then copy the new cell grid coordinates to the cell grid.txt file and go to drag and drop this onto BGLC.exehmmmm, can't seem to find it, its not in the folder that coastline maker is in....hmmmmm dont see it in FS2K2 folder. So i go download it from simviation, there it is.Now what do i do? Where does bglc.exe go and where does it put files that it compiles? I need to get the bgl to add the grid lines to the scenery so i can start editing, Im at a standstill til I figure this out. There appears to be nothing about it in the readme or tutroial for coastline maker. Pretty frustrating actually, hope to hear from those who have this working, thx.Hornit
March 31, 200323 yr Hey Hornit, don't have it working perfectly, but got farther than you1 LOL If you have a window with the coastline editor in it and another window with the BGLC exe in it just drag your files over and drop them in the BGLC exe and it will produce a BGL in the coastline folder, at least it does for me. I have yet to get the coastline part down, but I got some cool new roads! LOL If you get it going drop me a line, I would like your insight!Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpg Best, Michael KDFW
March 31, 200323 yr Author You would do well to get the best BGLC.exe from the Microsoft SDK site - http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/FS02DevDeskSDK00.asp . There are several versions but the one you want is dated 4/03/02 in the Specialeffects_SDK.exe.You will also get more answers to your scenery questions in the MSFS Scenery Forum. Bill Sieffert
