Bell Agusta 609 Tilt Rotor

Rob, FSUIPC is installed. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled. That was my first thought too. All I can figure out is that it doesn't like Vista Ultimate. I have UAC disabled too. Guess I'll have to try a reinstall of the aircraft. It simply will not take off vertically. Give it throttle and it takes off like a rocket...forward not up. Craig
BUt do you see FSUIPC in the Addons menu ??Because if you don't, there's no point in re-installing the aircraft.Another possibility for failure: if you haven't "trusted" the gauge RCB_VTOL.dll.(you can check in your fsx.cfg file if it's trusted)Rob

The manual, (that is installed with the aircraft :( Probably would have been nice to have a note in the installer huh?) says FSUIPC is requred to be installed, PRIOR to installing the tiltrotor. Bit me in the but because I hadn't had a need for FSUIPC in FSX prior to the tiltrotor.-Jason Peters E-3B/C AWACS Flight Engineer, USAF

Yes, I agree it would have been wiser to also make a note on FSUIPC installation in the Installer as well. Like the Installer states that you need to have FSX-SP1/SP2 or Accelleration. On the other hand, the FSUIPC requirement is clearly stated in the "Technical Requirements" section on Wilco's Tiltrotor's webpage. You can "bit me in the but" :( as well , but I hadn't had a need for SP2 prior to the tiltrotor.Like FSUIPC, it's just a requirement for the Tiltrotor to function properly in FSX....And as far as the ".... PRIOR to installing the tiltrotor" is concerned: the Tiltrotor just requires FSUIPC, either installed BEFORE or AFTER installation of the Tiltrotor.(doesn't really matter, it just won't function properly without it).Regards, Rob

I installed FSUIPC and hovering now works. However, there is a problem with the mission to the oil rig. The rig seems to have no collision defined; when I try to land on the pad I just go right through. I can fly all through the rig without crashing.

Im using Acceleration. Finally got it fixed by uninstalling FSUIPC and reinstalling. Solved the problem.
