December 11, 200817 yr I'd like to move some of the AI Aircraft for FS2004 from one computer over to my new computer.1. Is it possible.2. Where do I find the AI aircraft on the old computer.3. How do I identify them4. Can I copy them to a CD to move over to the other new computer? Thanks jerrycwo4
December 11, 200817 yr Of course you can. :)How you do it depends on what AI traffic you have installed.Generally you will need files from two FS folders: Aircraft and Scenery/World/Scenery1. Aircraft - you should copy all Aircraft folders containing AI aircraft. For example if you installed WOAI take all the WoA_XXX folders.2. Scenery/World/Scenery contains bgl files with flightplans. If it is WOAI, they are called like Traffic_XX_XXXX.bglThe Xs stand for names. Then paste all stuff where it should be on another PC and voilla!Best regards,Rafal
December 11, 200817 yr Hi,1. Yes2. In your FS2004 folder, inside the Aircraft folder. Default location is \Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fs2004/Aircraft3. Most will have folder names that start with AI or PAI or whatever group manufactured the AI aircraft.4. Yes, you can simply copy the planes' folders to a CD and then paste them into the new computer's Aircraft folder. Some details on where aircraft are stored (and how to install new ones): http://simviation.com/acinstall.htmHope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
