If you check the PMDG-forum for this question you will find a more than valid answer. There is simply no valid precipitation data available in MS FS might it be FS9 or FSX.BestHolger

... And consequently, all add-ons released with such a feature are just making false claims, including the specific weather radars developed separately as add-ons themselves! At least this is the logical reading and understanding of this information. There are times when it's rather difficult to read between the lines, but in this case, it seems very straightforward... or is it? Who is telling the true facts?Out of courtesy, I avoided mentioning commercial names that everyone knows about, this issue has been going on for some time and most simmers not highly qualified in IT/FS development (I am one of them) would like to know the exact facts. Where can this be found outside the fora of developers with obvious vested commercial interests one way or the other? I'd be curious.Jean-Claude

The PMDG does not have one. They are looking into adding one possibly, but there are no difinitive answers as of now.Jean, I think your comments are best directed towards the PMDG Forums as reviewers only offer reviews on products, not product support and feature requests.
