April 4, 200323 yr HiI'm currently using FSBuild 1.3.9 to do my IFR flightplanning. However, although a great program, i find the lack of a graphical map laying out my proposed route a bit limiting, especially when considering alternative routes. I'm aware that version 2.0 is supposed to be released soon but it seems to be continually put back. Can anyone recommend a good IFR flightplanner (freeware or payware) that can output the route to a map aswell as a text file or should i wait for FSBuild version 2.0 ?Thanks Gary
April 4, 200323 yr http://www.fsnavigator.com/Fs navigator is the best. Just hit the above link. High price ($35)though...It runs in FS2002 and has maps as well as the regular printout and can also be used as an FMC.Have fun,Marchttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
April 5, 200323 yr Check out Nav 3.1. It has two different level of detail maps, and extracts all the route etc data from your bgls for display. It lacks the nice planner of FSNav, but dosn't have to run inside of FS.scott s..
April 5, 200323 yr Jepessen HILO IFR charts and Nav 3.1 to enter the waypoints and save them as an FS plan :-)
