hey there...i'm currently using AFCAD 2.2 to modify my parking spaces...and the problem i'm facing is that i cant see the building structure.....i modify my parking spaces only to find out that some planes are actually parked in the building!...lol...and some taxiways go through the building....helpppp

Hello,Not a regular user of AFCAD .. but as first solution I suggest to put a aircraft on the spot you want create a parking aera and with "shift - Z " (if I remember well) check the exact location (latitude longitude) so you can report the exact location in AFCADRegards.xxmasanta.gif

AFCAD 2.21 was the last version available here in the libs. Disregard any version update notices.Start up FS and create or load a flight with a small default aircraft at your desired airport parked somewhere. Go to an appropriate overhead view then Window FS. Start up AFCAD and open up the same airport. You will see a lock icon in the bar. If you click it a red cross indicating your aircraft position will appear. Window AFCAD and arrange the two windows side by side. You must have FSUIPC installed for FS9 version 3.85 or better available for the lock function at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. You do not need to register it as a paid version but I recommend it for its full feature set. If AFCAD does not register it self search the support forum here: http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=54As you slew your aircraft over your airport, AFCAD will indicate the same position taking on the heading of the aircraft as you steer it with the red cursor showing the aircraft location. If you wish there is a payware program that offers similar functionality by showing AFCAD like symbols over your airport scenery for both FS9 and FSX. I think it is called AEX and is often advertised here. Check the pilot shop here.

Nice explanation!oBTW has anyone heard if Lee is going to update AFCAD ever again? (I know old question)

Unfortunately Lee Swordy (the author) has retired from active involvement in FS so there will not be any updates to Afcad or Traffic Tools. We all owe him a great debt of gratitude for these excellent tools.
