December 29, 200817 yr FS9 continues to amaze me...here's a pic of northern lights as I was over the N. Atlantic (inbound to EGPF) at 0200Z. Been flying FS since FS95 and I don't recall seeing such a beautiful display. Aircraft is PMDG 747F.R. Michael Perry

I flew my FS2004 Dornier DO228-200 from Anchorage to Fairbanks at night and got an amazing Aurora Borealis lightshow along the way. I see no reason to go to FSX, even though I have it. Well, the fact that FSX requires a computer that only God himself can afford prohibits me from using it. It's simply too much for my 2007 Dell.
December 29, 200817 yr Yeah, that's a nice little candy, isn't it? I remember the first time I saw that, flying from Logan to Heathrow. And a cool thing about that is, you won't always see it. I don't know what triggers it, but in the FS world, as in the real world, it's not an everyday-phenomenon.
