FSX Time Zone?

Featured Replies

Been a long time user of the flight sim series, but I never have figured this out! How do I get FSX to start up with the current time? It is always a couple hours off from my time zone. The minutes are always right, but not the hour. Can't FSX just use your system time as a default or something?! That has always been annoying to me....maybe I am missing something obvious to fix this? Thanks for any info.Scott

Under General Settings check "Use system time for free flight." If you set a default flight in your time zone, it will load with the current time and date. I'm not sure what happens if your default flight is in another time zone.
