Sbuilder205 wont compile a bgl..HELP!

Hi AllIve re formatted my PC installed XP PRO again.Ive got FS9 installed.FS9 SDK,sBasic Runtime 6 Activated my FSUIPC and installed SCASM.Than I regesterd Sbuilder.I open existing projects to edit and it wont create a bgl.Checked the path to my FS9 and all is good. Im lost now, I just cant figure whats going wrong.No matter what I do, even created a test project and still no bgl.Any ideas.Thanks AlFlight Ontario

I left FS9 behind a couple of years ago, so any of the specifics have been purged from my memory banks. But you might double check with the SBuilder installation tutorial, available here; http://www.scruffyduckscenery.co.uk/tutorials.html
Thanks meshMan.That was the problem. I use SbuilderX mostly but have to jump back every once in a while.I did not remember what I needed but that link brough it all back. Its working fin e now.Again Thanks for replying.Al SibleyFlight Ontario

Is this vector/object data? If yes, does it create any .scm files or SCAERROR.LOG?scott s..

SBuilder uses resample from the sdks for raster data, but needs to have scasm installed for vector and object data.http://www.scasm.de/scott s..

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I've got a similar issue: I'm trying to make a photo scenery, so I insert the map .bmp , calibrate it, select the LOD13 tiles I'll be using (all tiles fully covered by the map) and then compile. However, I get a compilation error, I get the tiles but I won't get any .bgl :(. I have scasm.exe installed in the /Tools subfolder, as I read on various forums. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to do a standard map (4.8 m/pixel) or a high resolution map (2.4 m/pixel... my image has not enough resolution for 1.2 m/pixel), I'm getting the compilation error. Hello Luis,Please tell if you get an error (say a crash) or if you do not find the BGL. Note that BGLs go to folders that depend on the folder's settings. Also check this folderC:\Programas\SBuilder205\Tools\WorkFiles are generated there and then copied to final destinations. In that folder you can also get the source files that are generated. ----------I've simply copied the contents of SCAERROR.LOG. After that, and waiting some time, I can finally see some .bmp generated in the Tools\Work folder... and a file named "Bucaramanga1_VTPH.scm" (well, my project is named Bucaramanga, after my home city :(). Indeed, I had a prehistoric version of SCASM. With the latest version I was able to solve that problem. Then I sent the BGL to Addon Scenery\scenery and the textures to Flight Simulator 9\Texture (after getting CTDs at 43% and reading some forums). Wow, it looks great, specially when I was able to lay over a set of roads I've previously done (I couldn't get that with Maps2BGL or Terrabuilder). Now to get a cloudless aerial photo. Is it possible to lay autogen using SBuilder?Ah, a suggestion: is it possible to, in a future update, allow having the textures in the same folder that the BGL? I mean, I have a folder named Escenario with the 2 subfolders: Scenery with all the BGLs, and Texture, with the required textures (instead of sending them to the main Texture folder).Thanks a lotBest regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel
