I don't think it is necessary for FS9 to be present to use TTools. In any case, one caneasily 'dummy up' the registry entry that points to the FS9 and FSX locations to satisfythe program. One could use the Traffic DataBase Builder (TDBB) provided in the FSX SDK howeverI would strongly recommend against that unless you have LOTS of time to debug andattempt to satisfy that 'programs' overly restrictive requirements to be able togenerate AI traffic BGLs.There are several freeware and payware AI traffic addons available that come withtheir own traffic BGL's however many of them use TTools to create the traffic BGL's and thus are in 'FS9 format'. These BGLs need to be run through one of the conversion utilities to convert themto FSX format so that they do not interfere with other traffic BGLs that are in FSX formatsuch as the default traffic.I use TTools for all my custom AI flightplans and a conversion tool authored by Lamont Clark.I gave up on TDBB long ago as I did not have a high enough tolerance level for the frustration that that set of 'tools' evoked....To put it in the workds of Mel Brooks..."It's do-do....!" :) Paul

Another thought would be to use AIFlightPlanner. It does not use TDBB, and has it's own converters. Works in FS9 and FSX.Bob
