January 28, 200917 yr Aloha all from sunny Maui!A friend had purchased FSX Standard Edition and added SP1, SP2, Acceleration Pack, FEX and GEX. He now would like to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, mainly to get the additional aircraft. Has anyone out there done this before? Should he uninstall the present version and start over from scratch? Could he just install "over the top"? Then would he have to re-install the service packs? Looking for help because we don't want to end up with one big mess!!Any help would be greatly appreciated.mauiguy

January 29, 200917 yr From what I know, the registry entries are different for standard versus deluxe versions. I do reccommend as total re-install.
