January 29, 200917 yr I just got done tweaking my computer and FSX installation according to Nick's guide and got a good FPS boost. I have seen this guide for a while, but never looked at it, because I thought I knew everything about getting FSX to run smoothly. I was happy with my frames in FSX until I purchased the Flight 1 mustang the other day. Outside views were fine, but once I switch to VC view, it went down to single digits. This was the only plane Ive had this problem with. After going through the guide, I get in the low 20's now. I had lots of misconceptions about how FSX configurations work. THis gide really explains it well. Thanks again,Rob
