MD-11 VHF radio kHz tuning not possible

Featured Replies

My MD-11 worked for weeks now without any issue however since yesterday I am unable to change the VHF 1 and VHF 2 kHz values. They always show

That is odd... I assure you the radios do select 25kHz channels (not 2kHz tho.. but I think this is what you meant). For example: 125.275 is a 25kHz channel and 121.5 used to be a 50kHz channel... some radios will display 125.275 as just 125.27 because they don't have the third decimal digit. Anyway, back on topic the only thing that I could imagin being the problem is you are not finding the correct spot to move the decimal digits.

Hi Dan,I try to explain it a little bit better. When I load the aircraft, the VHF 1 and 2 radios (VHF 3 works fine) will always show 000 kHz in the active and standby display (e.g. 127.000) regardless of what was selected in the loaded flight. I do know where the right click spot is and the hand symbol shows up when I try to use the inner knob but the kHz digits will stay at 000. No other installed aircraft shows this fault!Best regardsG. I am guessing now... isn't there an option in msfs to use 50kHz spacing? Make sure it is set for 25kHz spacing. Only other thing that comes to mind is maybe a font file but I really doubt it. If you don't get better help than I can offer in the forum then drop pmdg support an email (make sure you get an automatic response).
