February 23, 200917 yr I would like to point out, that there are two members named "Tom" are posting here, dont get confused with the statements CU, Tom Morello- FSX SP 2, WIN 7, 64Bit.
February 23, 200917 yr Hi Harry, what is "RW"? The FMS will just calculate this value, are u using a table to confirm that speed during flt ops? To recheck the computation of the FMS?RW - Real WorldDuring flight preparation used to note (on the TO Data Card) Vsr/Vcl and where applicable Vmcg, for check on the FMS calculation and as a general awareness. Also checked the RW table with the PMDG Take-off page for a wide range of TO weights. Not to my surprise all Vcl speeds were calculated the same as in the table.1.5g: can not find a definition discription of Vcl right away. But taking 220T / 250 kts as an example: if 250 is 1.5g than Vstall 166. Having a look in my Stall Speed graph, reveils a clean 1g stall speed of 168. Close enough I would think. If I may ask you another question: what is the Vmin for 220T according to your knowledge? Thanks!Vmin 220T, clean configuration and 1g, is 220 kts.Regards,Harry
February 23, 200917 yr Vmin 220T, clean configuration and 1g, is 220 kts.Regards,HarryThanks Harry, can u explain the difference of the speed at the weight of 220T, 250kts to 220kts?Lets say your aircraft weight is 220T, clean config, what speed are you flying? (ALT < FL100).The Vstall of 168 is correct, I agree!TOM M. CU, Tom Morello- FSX SP 2, WIN 7, 64Bit.

(not that importent yet cause Vmin is a static value now and not g load dependent).Harry

Why is Vmin not changing?? Does not make sence at all, right? Thanks Harry for your patience, we all can learn a lot, at any time! CU, Tom Morello- FSX SP 2, WIN 7, 64Bit.

(not that importent yet cause Vmin is a static value now and not g load dependent).HarryThe normal manoeuvring speed in clean config is VMIN+20 because of the increasing VMIN during turns. Can you explain why it isn't important?Floris

So now it's not that important for simulation purposes.[The normal manoeuvring speed in clean config is VMIN+20 because of the increasing VMIN during turns]I was and am well aware of that in real world operation. Same company, '93 till '04. ;-)Regards,Hary
