Normally there is a new menu in the menubar in top of you're display, a add-on menu with PMDG menu in it. But its not there. SO i can choose the feul, irs settings. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.I'm sorry for my bad english, It is not ,y best subject on school. I come from Holland and also active on Dutchfs.com.You're faithfully Martijn

Your English is good enough, no apology necessary.Maybe the installation did not get the run time modules installed correctly. It needs something like a VB or C++ run time library. Try to do a repair with the installer and when the run time installer runs make sure you select repair.Hope this helps.

Maybe some else in the forum has better ideas. Until then, send an email to pmdg support. Be sure to get automatic response (no response = they didn't get your message).

Check the DLL.XML file, it should contain: <Name>PMDG Options</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGOptions.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Events</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGEvents.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Sounds</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGSounds.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon>On XP it is located in C:\Documents and Settings\(your XP user name here)\Application Data\Microsoft\FSXThe installer should have inserted this, so if it is missing either somehow it got deleted afterwards, or there is something else wrong with your FSX setup.Tom

Try opening dll.xml in notepad or another text editor, then post it here. The above is unreadable.Tom

I cannot see anything wrong here. I'm sorry, but I can't explain why you have this problem. Is the entire "addon" menu missing from FSX, or is it just the PMDG entries?Tom
