No PMDG Menu by add-ons in FSX

Hi, I'm new here.I have a problem.After what trouble with Microsoft Flight Simulator X I have reinstall my computer. and instal FSX on it. After a day of flying I wan't my PMDG 747X back. I have installed. But I have a problem with that.I have installed the PMDG 747X correct, The plane is in the Aircraft Menu and you can choose it to fly. When i did that I discover a problem. Normally there is a new menu in the menubar in top of you're display, a add-on menu with PMDG menu in it. But its not there. SO i can choose the feul, irs settings. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.I'm sorry for my bad english, It is not ,y best subject on school. I come from Holland and also active on Dutchfs.com.You're faithfully Martijn

Your English is good enough, no apology necessary.Maybe the installation did not get the run time modules installed correctly. It needs something like a VB or C++ run time library. Try to do a repair with the installer and when the run time installer runs make sure you select repair.Hope this helps.

Maybe some else in the forum has better ideas. Until then, send an email to pmdg support. Be sure to get automatic response (no response = they didn't get your message).

I cannot see anything wrong here. I'm sorry, but I can't explain why you have this problem.Is the entire "addon" menu missing from FSX, or is it just the PMDG entries?Tom
