I must confess that the screen shot is from FS9 on my laptop I only use this copy for tests and it took me quite a few minutes to remember where the setting was :( Mark

That dosn't sound like cockpit tool tips,but the scrolling ATIS weather messages, if that is the case then you can disable them in the FSUIPC settings.Andy

It is neither, as stated it is called Flying Tips. It is the one that nags you every 10 or 15 seconds that, "Your engine is not running, Press Ctrl+E" or similar, if you're are sitting in a cold, dark aircraft.R-
