adding Afterburner effect to FSD T38 Talon for personal use?

Featured Replies

hi,Can it be done? I love the FSD T38 and think an afterburner effect when you engage the afterburners would be great... can it be done by just adding a couple lines to a cfg?Andrew

Search the usual places for a file named tburnv2.zip. This will add the AB effects to the T38.

This has already been done:FS2002 - FS2002 AircraftFS2002 T-38 Talon AfterburnerName: tburnv2.zip Size: 367,625 Date: 12-05-2002 Downloads: 2088 FS2002 T-38 Talon Afterburner. Greetings Andrew,I have just finished version 3 of the T-38 afterburnereffects and need a few more beta testers :)New AB flame effectNew panel indicator for ABNew wingtip vortex using "G" forceNew dynamic jetsmoke using "percent N2"New blue flame at start-up using "exhaust temp"To get these effects the FSD "announciator" gauge mustbe sidelined, as it was used to control the "smokesystem"in the original FSD release...Thanks to those above in the thread for reccomending my effects :)[email protected]
