Landclass and mesh files

Recommended Posts

HiI know that a landclass bgl file should be under a scenery folder with no related 'texture' folder.Apart from that, will there be a problem (memory leak or other) if two files covering the same area (or having an overlap) are put in the same folder .If not, how fs9 will determine which ones gets priority? Alphanumerical?ThanksGhiom

I would almost guess that 2 files covering the same area in 1 folder would cause conflict, as there is no priority to determine what gets used.I use, FSgenesis, UT Europe And various addon scenery. And it's always the higher priority scenery that shows.Hope that helps a bit.

Correct. alphanumeric within folder. Note that the "no related texture folder" is true only if the textures called by the landclass are not available within the related texture folder (in most cases landclass files will use the world scenery textures so this rule is correct).scott s..
